Heritage Railway and Carousel Company is NOW OPEN for 2009!
Thank you for riding with us.
The Heritage Railway and Carousel is open seven days per week, from ten in the morning until Dusk, weather permitting.
A visit from Santa, Christmas in July 2007.
The Heritage Railway & Carousel Company provides hours of laughter and enjoyment to 100, 000 + visitors each summer who stop by to ride the beautiful carousels and miniature railway at North Bay's Waterfront.
Thank you for a successful "Adoptions Day" at the Winter Wonderland Carousel
The magic of the carousels was evident throughout the day at North Bay's Waterfront as the fun and excitement showed on the faces of all our visitors. The fulfillment of a dream occurred as the sunlight glistened off the animals and artwork and showed the volunteers and adopters exactly what they had been working so hard for the last few years. Experiencing the laughter and excitement of the riders during the day was enough to show everyone that the dream really had become reality.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to all the Heritage North Bay volunteers (the carvers, the artists, the carousel and railway volunteers and the site installation team), the adopters, the Shriner clowns (our Wednesday night Shriner crew came out in full clown regalia), the media, the "Juggling Zambino" Ryan Sutherland and the Swiss Pastry Chef for coming down and helping to make the day a success.
Welcome Home Lucy Dalton!
The Lucy Dalton made her first appearance in North Bay in 1882. As the very first locomotive to come to North Bay, she has a special place in our history.
This season, the beautiful one of a kind C.P.R. steam locomotive has been honoured with a homecoming at the Heritage Railway. The "little Lucy Dalton" has joined our fleet. You can watch her making her way along the waterfront just like she would have almost 125 years ago!
Capture the feeling of the steam era on board our little Lucy!
